I got this recipe from my friend Susan Blomberg, who got it from her friend Linda Gratt, who got it from her mother, who got it from someone else. It’s the best Kugel I ever tasted.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Cook the noodles in lightly salted water until tender but still slightly firm.

In an electric mixer, beat together the cream cheese and butter until they are well blended and fluffy.

Beat in the sugar until well blended.

Blend in the sour cream, eggs and cinnamon and stir in the raisins.

Pour the mixture over the noodles and toss to coat them.

Place the mixture in a lightly buttered baking dish.

Mix the cereal and butter and sprinkle the mixture on top of the Kugel.

Bake for or until the top is well-browned and crispy.
