Ronnie's Notes

Orange flower water is a flavoring popular in Middle Eastern cooking. It has a delicate, but definite citrus taste. This dessert is lovely as is but you can also serve it with sorbet or ice cream. I particularly like this after a spicy meal.

Peel the oranges and cut them into thick slices.

Remove the white pith from the outer edge and slice the fruit into rounds.

Place on a serving platter.

Drizzle with orange flower water.

Using a sifter or small strainer, dust with confectioners’ sugar.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and mint.

Scatter the almonds on top of the fruit.
