21/2 TB. sugar

Peel the peaches, cut them into halves, and remove the pits.

Place two halves into each of 6 dessert dishes.

Crush the berries and mix them with the sugar and the liqueur (if used).

Set this mixture aside.

(If you use frozen, presweetened packaged berries, omit the sugar.)
